The engineering underneath

Agents are new. The plumbing isn't.

For twenty years, JDK has built the connective tissue of mid-market operations: the APIs, integrations, and applications that move work between systems. That is the same engineering that now puts agents to work. Different job title, same discipline.

What we build

Four practices, one engineering team

01

Enterprise integration & APIs

Systems that talk to each other without a person re-keying data in between. REST APIs, event-driven integration, MCP servers, and the middleware that keeps ERP, CRM, and line-of-business systems in sync. This is also how an agent reaches your ticket queue: every agent deployment is an integration project first.

02

Cloud migration & operations

Azure and AWS migrations, cloud-native rebuilds, and the environments that production workloads run in. When an agent goes live, it runs on infrastructure like this, with the same controls: identity, networking, monitoring, cost.

03

Web & mobile applications

The interfaces people actually use: member portals, internal tools, customer service systems, mobile apps. Today that includes the approval screens and dashboards where your team reviews what an agent did and signs off on what it wants to do next.

04

Data & analytics

Databases, reporting pipelines, and vector stores. Clean, reachable data is the difference between an agent that answers correctly and one that guesses. Most data-readiness problems we find in discovery get fixed by this practice.

How this connects to the agent practice

Most of our agent work starts as integration work. The SQL analytics, customer service, and research agents we run in production sit on top of APIs, data stores, and cloud environments built exactly the way this page describes. If you engage us for an agent build, this is the team doing the wiring. If you engage us for custom development, you get engineers who already know where AI fits and, just as important, where it doesn't.

Twenty years of systems that ship.

Whether the project is an integration, a rebuild, or an agent with a job description, it starts the same way: a conversation about how the work actually flows.
